On the subject of business cards… I recently ordered some personal cards (for my ‘woo woo’ side of me – this graphic design stuff being my muggle identity).  I designed them with the idea of having little personal affirmations on the back, sort of like a fortune cookie!

Then feeling decidedly adventurous, I ordered them from Moo.com in the states. It took some time for them to show up in the mail but I have to say the quality is absolutely beautiful!  They are each the size of a stick of gum, printed on heavy card stock (i’m guessing 140 lb) and coated, full colour!  WOW.  And they come with these lovely little boxes that are just adorable.

I also ordered a fun little felt holder to carry a few in my purse. Its Hot Pink and oh so very cute!

All in all, quite happy! :)  I may do another batch with personal artwork for next time!

Sometimes, a business card needs to be standard in size, either because you have budget considerations or you want something .

BUT if you want to stand out, sometimes doing something a little bit different can be fun and memorable!

I recently finished up a logo and business cards for personal coach, Cathy Anderson and we decided to do something unique to fit with both her personality and her brand.

Square cards fit perfectly!  At 2.5″ square, these are a sure way to make her stand out from the crowd.
